President Theodore Roosevelt sang bass, but did not do so with any particular accomplishment. But he loved to use his deep resonate voice to sing. He was once telling a group of his friends how much he was looking forward to heaven. He envisioned a great host singing in heaven. He told them that, with his mind’s eye, he could see 10,000 sopranos — he named a few of the great sopranos of the day — and 10,000 altos and 10,000 tenors. He named other famous altos and tenors.
