ATTITUDE AND HANDICAPS
I knew a man who was a member of our church. He had retired and was able finally to devote some time to work in his workshop. In the course of completing a project, he cut two fingers off with a power saw. When I tried to console him about his misfortune and the loss of his two fingers, he replied: “Thanks for your sympathy but I have had ’em for 70 years. I have eight more and besides both of ’em had a nail in it.”
