Betty Crocker has recently undergone a one Million dollar facelift, her sixth makeover in 65 years, according to a recent UPI article. General Mills said Betty had to be updated, in order to keep her from falling into the advertising afterworld. The most recent Betty is well coiffed, wearing a loose, white, feminine, bow-tied blouse and red jacket. Yes, the advertising world knows how to change its methods to fit the times. Quite possibly the Church could take some lessons.
