THE JESUS STAR
From the backyard of our parsonage home we have a wonderful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. On October 1, 1990, at 7:30 in the morning, the rising sun shone on a house on top of Buck Mountain, reflecting off of the many windows at just the right angle so that from our house we could see a brilliant spot of light – like a miniature sun. I called to my daughter Emily to show her the sight, and as we looked at it through the screen door to our deck, the screen produced streamers trailing off that bright light.
