Remember way back when a husband was not allowed to go into the labor room with his expectant wife? He was told to have a seat in the “Fathers’ Waiting Room” where there was always a good supply of year-old magazines. And his first look at his new-born baby was through a glass partition. These days, of course, with a little preparation he can go into the labor room, and even into the delivery room and be a part of the miracle of birth taking place.
