THE TERM IS OVER
“In the seventh of his famous Chronicles of Narnia, a book entitled The Last Battle, C. S. Lewis has Aslan, the great ‘Christ figure’ speak these words of certainty concerning eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord: ‘. . . you are – as you used to call it in the Shadow-Lands-dead. The term is over: the holidays have begun. The dream is ended: this is the morning.’ “Then the narrator closes the Chronicles with this observation: ‘. . . the things that began to happen after that were so great and beautiful that I cannot write them.
