I’m going to tell you a fish story:

It seems that some scientists decided to develop a fish that could live outside of water. They selected several healthy red herring for the experiment. They bred them and cross-bred them until, finally, they produced a fish that could live out of water. Still, they weren’t satisfied. They suspected that even though the fish had learned to exist on dry land, it still had a secret desire for water. Consequently, they decided to change its very desires.
