When World War II ended in Europe, a German theologian took his students to a refugee camp in West Berlin where they put on a daily “Punch-and-Judy” show for children. It was the high point of the children’s day, every day, and the hall where the show was put on was always filled to overflowing with young people. The theologian’s role always was that of the devil.
