“And now my fall is upon me and there is no relief from my pains” (Psalm 38:17).

The story is told of two climbers, Jim and Tom, who had just reached the top of a steep cliff when Jim fell and landed fifty feet below on a narrow ledge. Horrified, Tom yelled down, “Jim, are you okay?” To which Jim yelled back, “I’m alive, but both my arms are broken.” “Don’t worry, I’ll get a rope down to you and pull you up.” Tom said.
