A 70-year-old, widowed grandmother decided to take a cross-country motor trip all by herself. The journey went well for the most part. Help at “self-service” gas pumps always seemed to be available and there were plenty of “senior citizen” discounts at motels and restaurants along the way. But one evening, she encountered a real problem. It was time for her prescription medication, which she needed to take daily. The first bottle of the two she brought with her was now empty.
