Jesus told His disciples that the “Kingdom of God is like a buried treasure” (Mt. 13:44). In the “Sermon on the Mount” Jesus said, “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth … but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven … For where your treasure is, thou will your heart be also” (Mt. 6:19, 20, 21).
