There is the story of a woman who died and went to Heaven. She was greeted at the Pearly Gates by St. Peter, who said, “Before you enter, I must ask if you know God’s Name. The woman pondered the question for a while then replied, “His Name is Andy.” St. Peter was astonished. “How did you ever come up with Andy?” “Well,” said the woman, “It’s in the hymn we sang in Church all the time:
Andy walks with me,
Andy talks with me,
Andy tells me I am His own.”
Another story is told of a famous opera singer who, after a severe bereavement, went to India in search of peace. There she visited the famous Indian poet, Rabindranath Tagore, whose works had been a source of inspiration to her.
