A Jewish family moved into a new neighborhood. The parents felt that their young son would benefit from some extra discipline. Consequently they went to enroll him in a nearby parochial school. There they were told that because the available space was limited, all applicants would be required to take an oral admissions test to be conducted by the Mother Superior. The boy diligently studied the material he was given to prepare for the examination. But, as a safeguard, he wrote down some key points under his belt. The day came for the test. He entered the Mother Superior’s office and the oral exam began:
Mother Superior: Where was the Son of God born?
Boy: Bethlehem.
Mother Superior: What was His mother’s name?
Boy: Mary.
Mother Superior: What was His father’s name?
Boy: Joseph.
Mother Superior: Who is regarded as the greatest teacher of all time?
Boy (peeking behind his belt): Calvin Klein.
