From the Old Testament Song of Solomon, the bride speaks, “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine …”(Song of Songs 6:3).
“I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine.” This immediately reminds us of the promises that will be made this day in the sight of God and this congregation – those which (Groom) will promise (Bride) and that (Bride) will promise (Groom).
(First Name) and (First Name), In recent days and weeks and months, you have not just been planning a wedding. You have been planning a marriage together for as long as you both shall live. “I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine,” for life.
