Will you still need me, Will you still feed me, When I’m Sixty-Four?

The words of the old Beatles’ song have a particular relevance these days in which divorce has become an epidemic. “I’m twenty-four, and I know you are with me now,” says the new bride or groom, “but will you still be around when I’m sixty-four — or fifty-four, or forty– four, or thirty-four?”

The most powerful nation economically and militarily has the highest divorce rate in the world!

This is, of course, a matter of great concern for manyreasons because the teaching of Jesus is so directon the subject.

When the Phariseescame to Jesus and asked Him about this, He knew that they wanted to talk about it on a certain level. They wanted to talk about it in terms of Mosaic Legislation — the Law of Moses.
