FRUIT OF THY LOOM
I was asked by a bride to include certain scripture verses in the wedding vows. One portion, found in Deuteronomy 7:13, reads: “And He (God) will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: He will also bless the fruit of thy womb.” At that point, I notice a muffled snickering. Later I learned I had quoted, “… and God will bless thee, and multiply thee; He will also bless the fruit of thy loom.” From Wade T. Burton, Pastor of Coronaca Baptist Church, Greenwood, SC.
