DEALING WITH DEPRESSION
We have to make a frontal attack on the feelings of helplessness that’s causing depression in our country today. Depression costs the United States of America five billion dollars a year in direct hospital and drug costs. We have no way of calculating how many more multiplied billions of dollars it costs our country in indirect costs, such as broken families, alcoholism, drug addiction, and welfare payment to people who have become emotional cripples.
