BUILD THE DREAM
J.G. Roscoe multiplied millions of dollars at the height of the stock market crash in the Great Depression. In 1929 just before the depression began, J. G. Roscoe had a dream of building the tallest skyscraper in the world in New York City. People said it couldn’t be done. Others professed it would be a financial catastrophe. But he sold all of his stock at the height of the market and convinced others to do the same and support his project. Days after he and his supporters had cashed in their stock, the market crashed, bringing poverty upon thousands. If he and his fellow dreamers hadn’t had the courage to invest all they had in their dream, they would have lost everything. One year later, they began building their dream, the Empire State Building.
