LAWYER LESSONS
Max Dean Flier, of Compton, California, was sure that he was born to be a lawyer, but the bar exams in California are tough. He took the exam forty-seven times and failed every time. Maxey had recently turned sixty, and thirty- seven years of failing left him feeling pretty sure that he was going to die and never get to be what he was born to be. He took the exam again one more time, took it for the forty-eighth time. HE PASSED IT!
