THE FALKLANDS FALLACY
Fearing another world war, a Canadian pacifist decided to sell his home and move to a quiet part of the planet where peace was guaranteed. After months of deliberation he chose the remotest and safest spot on the atlas. In March 1982 he moved to the Falkland Islands, just five days before the Argentineans invaded this quiet island, marking the start of the Falklands war.
