IT’S THE SAME BURDEN
A woman was walking down the road with a heavy burden on her shoulders. A man with a horse and wagon offered to give her a ride. She got in the back of the wagon, but continued to hold her heavy load on her shoulders. The man asked her why she did not put her burden down in the wagon. She replied that she didn’t want to burden the horse any more than it was already burdened. She did not realize the burden was the same on the horse no matter whether she kept it on her shoulders or put it down in the wagon.
