SKIN- DEEP COMPASSION A
Chinese pastor once told American Christians how Christianity had finally taken hold in his native territory. The Western missionaries had spent considerable time with little success in getting converts. However, one of the Chinese villagers contracted a skin cancer and required a skin transplant. The only one willing to supply the needed skin was the white foreigner. Thus, the white patch of skin worn by the Oriental wordlessly trumpeted the love of God in concrete fashion.
