MARMALADE FOR LENT
Country parson Russell Hoy gave a good idea for Lent in describing one of his neighbors: “Right now she’s making marmalade for the church’s Easter sale. ‘It’s my way of keeping Lent. There isn’t much I can give up for Lent, so I thought I should TAKE UP something instead. When I give up something, it may help me… but when I take up something, it’ll help someone else.'” Neat idea.
