GOD LOVES ALL CREATURES
This winter when I put the flannel sheets on the beds for the first time of the season, my 3 year old Paul was helping. We have sheep sheets and penguin sheets and both boys prefer the penguin sheets. When Paul saw the sheets, he exclaimed “Oh boy, penguin sheets.” Seeing a teachable moment, I responded, “Paul, I’m giving your older brother Joseph the penguin sheets this week. I’m giving you the sheep sheets to remind you each day that you are one of God’s little lambs.” He excitedly exclaimed, “Oh yes, and Joseph is one of God’s little penguins!” From Help for Growing Families, Fenton, Missouri
