STICKING YOUR NECK OUT
Hagar and his buddy, Lucky Eddie are in the pub having a drink. Lucky Eddie, full of compassion, looks at another patron and says, “I feel sorry for him, he always drinks alone… I think I’ll go over and join him.” Eddie moves toward the other patron who just happens to be the local executioner all decked out in his hood and leaning back on his broadax while he sips a drink. Hagar says, “I wouldn’t stick my neck out if I were you…” From Hagar the Horrible by Chris Browne, July 11, 1991
