ON HOLD WITH GOD
A mother and daughter walk out of church one Sunday morning and the mother says, “That was a nice service. I really liked the soft piano music during the prayer.” The little girl turns and asks her mother, “That was a piano?” Mom nods yes and the little girl says, “Oh. I thought God had put us on hold.” We need never fear that God will put us on hold. Our God reaches down and enters our struggles and struggles with us. Our God knows our struggles first hand. Our God is with us to all the ends of the earth through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.
