PRODUCTIVE PROMISES
A man became rich by deception. He invented a medicine that he manufactured in a barnyard. The medicine contained no healing ingredients. It was worthless. Despite this fact, advertisements claimed that the medicine was a cure-all for nearly everything. Consequently, many people were deceived by falsehood. They bought and used the worthless product. The false promises of these advertisements are somewhat characteristic of all advertisements. Very few advertisements are true to reality. They promise more than they can deliver. Maybe the only product that works every time is EX-LAX. Many people are not serious about their promises. Consequently, they don’t keep promises. Moreover, a few people forget their promises. God, however, never forgets his promises, and He always fulfills his absolute promises. In addition, He fulfills his conditional promises when man fulfills the conditions.
