BEING A BOY AGAIN
Dagwood comes in the house holding his injured hand and tells Blondie, “I cut my finger.” Blondie says, “You’d better put something on it right away.” With a pained look on his face, Dagwood says, “I want you to do it.” Blondie plays nurse and bandages Dagwood’s finger as he sits there with a hangdog-feeling-sorry-for-himself look on his face. And he reflects: “This is the only way a man can feel like a little boy again.” From Blondie by Young and Drake, July 19, 1991
