GREAT TASTE IN WOMEN
Hagar the Horrible’s wife Helga is laying him out. “Your outfits never match, your hats are all shabby and that bearskin’s out.” Hagar is hurt and says, “Hey! Say something nice about me!” Helga walks over, throws her arms around Hagar and says, “You have great taste in women.” Sometimes we have to look past each others faults and see what is really important in our relationship. We have to let the love we have for each other, empowered by the love of God which is at the center of our lives, overlook those faults we see. From Hagar the Horrible, by Chris Browne, February 11, 1993
