DECIDING RIGHT OR WRONG
If you were unsure of what was right or wrong in a situation, how would you decide what to do? 23% would do what is best for everyone. 21% would follow the advice of an authority. 18% would do what makes them happy. 16% would do what God or the Scriptures said. 10% would do what would improve their situations or get them ahead. 9% don’t know what they would do. 3% would follow their consciences. Taken from Schoolteachers Say It’s Wrongheaded to Try to Teach Students What’s Right, Wisconsin State Journal, April 27, 1990, pgs. B1 & B8
