LEARNING PATIENCE
We learn patience in order to use it. That is probably the single most important reason why God does not remove us from all circumstances that require patience. “Lord, you’ve already taught me how to be patient. Why don’t you get on to something else? I’m tired of having to be patient.” Sound familiar? The fundamental problem here is assuming that patience is a lesson to be learned — period. In reality, however, it is a life to be lived… …Training is for the purpose of service. God teaches us patience in order that we might use it — every day of our lives.
