VOICE WITH A TOUCH
Max DePree tells about his granddaughter Zoe (Greek word for “life”) who was born prematurely and weighed only one pound, seven ounces. She was so small that Max’s wedding ring would slip onto her arm and go all the way up to her shoulder. The doctors gave her very little chance of survival. The tiny child was attached to a respirator, two IV’s, and a feeding tube. Zoe’s biological father had abandoned his family a month prior to her birth.
