HARD TO GET AWAY FROM
Hank Ketchum’s comic strip character Dennis the Menace comes running into the house where Mom is fixing supper. Dennis leans against the door, wipes his brow and says, “Whew! Margaret sure is playing hard to get away from.” July 27, 1992 Some folks are like that. Even worse, some problems and bad habits are like that, too. They just hang on no matter what we do. They pursue us and dog our trail until they wear us down and we give in out of total frustration. But Christ can help us overcome those problems. Not the people, but the problems, through his grace.
