GOD WILL PROVIDE
Abraham burdened Isaac with the wood, not the worry… When the day was over, this memorable, painful, priceless day, a day seized by Abraham’s faith, a day yielded to by Isaac’s trust, Abraham named the place, “the Lord will provide.” They also know each other in ways not possible apart from costly grace. They know that nothing stands between them, but God. No one is more precious to them than God, not even each other. And nothing is more important to them than faithfulness to God. They have tested and affirmed God’s good, pleasing and perfect will. From Chuck Colson, Kingdoms in Conflict
