PROFESSOR FORGOT HIS CAR
One of my beloved professors once spoke at a week-long series of meetings in a city a few hundred miles from his home. After the week was over, he flew back to his own city, took a cab to his home, and was greeted at the door by his questioning wife: “But where is the car? Did you forget that you drove this time?” He had forgotten! He had to take a taxi back to the airport, fly to the other city, and drive his forgotten car home! From PRAISE! A Matter Of Life and Breath, by Dr. Ronald Barclay Allen, published by Thomas Nelson Publishers, 1980, pg. 151
