LET JESUS RUB OFF ON US
Our two-year-old daughter Kaitlyn is really cute. That is a given… no brag, just fact. People in our congregation love to pick her up and hold her before, during, and after worship. I have begun to recognize my parishioners by the scent of their perfume or cologne. When I pick her up at home after worship, I’ll ask my wife, “What is that smell?” My wife answers “Oh, so-and-so was holding her today.” People rub off on her. When we’re in love with Jesus and allow him to “hold” us, he will rub off on us. And when we live in love together, that same love will rub off on one another, too. That’s part of what being a Christian is all about, isn’t it?
