NOAH’S FRUSTRATIONS & EXCUSES
There is reason to sympathize with Noah as he faced the task God assigned him, especially as that story is recorded in this reversed, substandard version of the Genesis account: “And it came to pass, the Lord returned to Noah and said unto him: “Where is the ark I commanded thee to build?” And Noah said unto the Lord: “Verily, I have had two carpenters on vacation, and the other two are on sick leave. And the gopherwood supplier hath let me down — yea, even though the gopherwood hath been on back order for nigh upon three months.
