SUPPORT OR AGREEMENT
Leadership Journal gives insight on how we can differ with each other within the church yet still support each other as they record the case of one individual who differed with his church: “I will vote against building because my conviction is we ought to do it on a cash basis. But if we vote to build now, this is the last time you’ll hear me say anything about it.” We did vote to build. And his example gave us a stronger unity. As Manfred Gutzke once said, you can’t become longsuffering until you’ve been long-bothered. Likewise, unity can’t be truly experienced until it’s been tested.
