UPS WILL GET YOU!
When the father of a little girl in our congregation had taken all he could and would finally get fed up and holler at his daughter, he would yell, “If you don’t settle down, I’m going to call UPS and have them come get you.” It was sort of Dad’s final warning signal said thoroughly in jest. And it was only hollered in that moment of total frustration that all parents face from time to time. One day their daughter had been a particular pill. There wasn’t any kind of trouble the daughter hadn’t gotten into that day. She was on a tear and Dad was about ready to tear his hair out. Then three things happened. The daughter crossed the line.
