HANNAH’S EXULTATION
Hannah played music for her son, Sammy. One day he heard these words: Our God is an awesome God. He reigns in heaven above in wisdom and power and love. The words enkindled his imagination. “You’re kidding, Mom!” he said. “God is awesome?” Hannah thought about it, then answered with great confidence, “Sure!” “God is awesome?” he repeated. “Does God wear an earring?” “Well,” thought Hannah, “he would if he wanted to!” “Awesome!” By Diane M.
