PRAISE SHOWS LIFE
Not only is praise commanded of the living, but it is also a measure of spiritual vitality. Those who are alive in the Lord, and know they draw their very breath by His grace, delight to praise His name. Praise then, is not only commanded of those with life and breath, but a sign of life and breath in Him. Praise is not silent, nor is praise possible in solitude. Praise cannot be artificial or by rote either. From PRAISE! A Matter Of Life and Breath, by Dr. Ronald Barclay Allen, Thomas Nelson Publishers, 1980 — we don’t know who submitted this one. Please let us know if it is yours.
