Here’s a fantasy perspective of Jesus’ birth from an angel’s point of view, from New Testament Christianity, by J. D. Philips: Once upon a time a very young angel was being shown around the splendors and glories of the universe by a senior, more experienced angel. To tell you the truth, the little angel was getting tired and a little bored. He had been shown whirling galaxies and blazing suns, infinite distances in the deathly cold of interstellar space. In his mind there seemed to be an awful lot of it all. Finally he was shown the galaxy that our planetary system is a small part of. As the two of them drew near to the star we call our sun and to it’s circling planets, the senior angel pointed to one little ball turning slowly on it’s axis.
