WHERE ARE YOU GOING?
When Love beckons to you, follow Him,
Even though His ways are hard and steep.
And when His wings enfold you, yield to Him,
Even though the sword hidden among His pinions may wound you./And when He speaks to you, believe in Him
Even though His voice may shatter your dreams
As the north wind lays waste the garden.
For even as Love crowns you, so shall He crucify you.
Is not the cup that holds your wine the very cup
that was burned in the potter’s oven?
And is not the lute that soothes your spirit the very wood that was hollowed with knives?
The deeper sorrow carved into your being,
The more joy you can contain. Kahlil Gibran
