Heaven | Judgment | Poetry | Reward | Service | Strength

JUST REWARDS
Many will be shocked to find
When the day of Judgment nears,
There’s a special place in Heaven
Set aside for Volunteers./There’s nothing there to staple,
Not one thing to fold or mail;
There’ll be no Friday kitchen,
And no Saturday rummage sale.
Furnished with recliners,
Satin couches and footstools.
There’s no dart game to organize,
No tournaments for pool.
Mailing lists will be outlawed,
But a finger snap will bring
Cool drinks and gourmet dinners
And treats fit for a king.
Ask who’ll serve these privileged few
And Work for all they’re worth?
Why, all those who reaped the benefit
And not once volunteered on Earth!! NRTA Newsletter
