MISSING CHILDREN
Every morning on the back page of Section 1 of a San Francisco, Bay Area newspaper are the pictures of two recently kidnapped young girls. These daily pictures, accompanied by biographical information about the girls, as well as a composite drawing of one of the abductors, remind the readers on a daily basis of the importance of finding these missing children. These lost girls are only the two latest to be added to the list of missing girls from the area. The families of these girls have done everything they know possible to find their daughters. Thousands and thousands of picture fliers have been distributed and posted. One abduction has been reenacted and aired on TV to solicit help. Massive search parties have combed large regional parks. Infra-red equipped helicopters have made extensive searches at night in remote wilderness areas.
