If you’re concerned about being criticized, you’re in the wrong job. Whatever you do, somebody out there will be telling you that you are (a) wrong, (b) insensitive, (c) too profound, (d) too simplistic, (e) too concerned with people’s problems, (f) not empathetic enough, (g) too aggressive, (h) too wishy-washy, (i) all of the above — consistency is not required of critics.
