THINGS ARE NOT ALWAYS AS THEY SEEM
It was late in the afternoon in the crowded shopping mall. My three year old daughter and I had visited almost every store. I could tell the little toddler was getting tired of browsing and shopping with her comments of “When are we going to go home?” and “I don’t wanna shop anymore Mommy.” To counter her growing discontent so I could finish my shopping, I asked her if she would like to visit the toy store just ahead. She responded with a squeal of “Yaaaa!” and took off as fast as her little feet could carry her in the direction of the toy store. To keep up with her, I broke into a trot to catch up to the racing child.
