One of the most exciting things about the Bible is that the Biblical writers tell us over-and-over again this amazing fact: the Great God Almighty Himself, He who created us and sustains us in life, actively and lovingly guides us into the way of wholeness of life. God Himself does this. God is present in the life of each one of us, guiding us to life:

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want; He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters; He restores my soul … Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me (Ps. 23:1-4).
