USE THE SWITCH
One day I went down into my basement to the distressing sight of the early stages of a flood. The toggle switch on the sump pump had died. Consequently, the sump pump could not function. A quick trip to the hardware store to pick up a new toggle switch had us back in business with a dry basement in no time at all. Later, as I gazed with satisfaction and relief at the properly functioning sump pump assembly, I reflected upon how all of that power and fine equipment were of no use without the switch. The electricity was available. The equipment was available. But the solution to my flooding basement would not come without the switch. How similar that situation is to the human condition. We can make a divine connection through Jesus Christ!
