CRITIQUE OF JESUS
The following is an analogous critique of Jesus in the same style used today by the press to analyze Presidential speeches, etc: Pharisee – Well, what do you think of Christ’s State of the Temple Address? Sadducee – I’m not sure how to analyze the effect of this talk— He certainly is no Moses and I’m not sure he can make it without the Sadducees’ and Pharisees behind him. Pharisee – I don’t think that’s a smart move—He’s going to need their financial backing to help sway the masses. His miracles won’t pull him through. Sadducee – Too many bad people seem to be following him. This forgiveness he keeps talking about is too much. It’s going to be abused. It’ll never work. Pharisee – What do you think of the way he fed those 5,000 men? Sadducee – I guess he does have a pretty good Hunger Program. Pharisee – And the way people just touched his robe and were…
